Nutrition 0-5 days after hatch has short and long term effects on the overall health and development of birds. Chicks undergo significant physiological transitions after hatch where precision nutrition plays a key role in:

• Intestinal development
• Nutrient digestibility and absorption
• Health status

Without the proper early nutrition, customers and flocks don’t reach peak potential

Pancreatic enzyme activity during first week after hatch is limiting, especially enzymatic activity for protein is lacking. This indicates that highly digestible ingredients should be used for these very young broilers!
